This event is an important element of the Butterfly Foundation's community awareness and fundraising strategy. Funds raised will assist the Butterfly Foundation in its vital work. We aim to improve the quality of lives of those who suffer from eating disorders and negative body image issues by increasing access to appropriate treatment and support and increasing understanding and empathy towards sufferers in the community.

Eating disorders are mental illnesses - they are not only about food and the body they are about feelings. It's OK to talk about feelings and it's OK to talk about eating disorders - seeking professional treatment is the first step on the road to recovery - the journey's best shared.
